Pop Culture specialist Jamie George joined SGB in August 2025, and his particular areas of expertise are Silver and Golden age comics, recalled and controversial comic books, and the Pulp era of science-fiction.
He holds an MA in History from Royal Holloway and has previously worked for Certified Collectibles Group, overseeing marketing, sales and operations regarding comics, trading cards, coins and banknotes.
Jamie has enjoyed completing preliminary research for notable numismatic collections including the Ibrahim Salem collection and the Waterbird Collection, and he has also helped facilitate the grading and authentication of varying record-breaking collectables such as the Guinness World Record collection of Pokémon cards.
In addition to his role at the company, Jamie is a writer at GoCollect, has contributed to industry publications, provided market research to eBay for comic books, and is a judge for the UK & Ireland Card Awards.
