Description
Edward VI (1547‑1553), Sixpence, third period, fine silver issue, mintmark tun both sides. Crowned bust facing, rose to left, mark of value to right, legend reads EDWARD VI DG AGL FRA Z HIB REX. Rev, long cross fourchée over quartered shield of arms, legend reads POSVI DEV A DIVTOR E MEV, 2.83gm (S. 2483; N. 1938). Mildly creased flan, nevertheless Near Very Fine, toned.
