Charles I (1625‑49), Half Pound, Oxford mint, mm. plume/‑, 1642, Shrewsbury horseman left, brandishing sword, Oxford plume behind, reverse Declaration in two lines, three Oxford plumes and value above, date below, (S.2945, N.2404). Horseman well struck, overall near extremely fine for issue , toned. Better than usual.
