Charles I (1625 ‑1649), AR Halfcrown, 14.97gm., Tower Mint, group III, third style horseman ‑ type 3a2 ‑ subdued horse with no caparisons, king with sword upright and cloak flying from shoulders, rev. oval garnished arms, no CR. Mintmark anchor ‑ 1638‑39. (cf Brooker 346; N.2211; S.2775). Obv. a little weak, almost Very Fine, rev. strong.
