Charles I (1625 ‑1649), AR Halfcrown, 14.82gm., Tower Mint, group IV, fourth style horseman ‑ type 4 – horse foreshortened, with no caparisons, king with sword upright and double sash flying from shoulders, rev. oval garnished arms, no CR. Mintmark triangle in circle‑ 1641‑43. (cf Brooker 372; N.2214; S.2779). Very Fine, weak but nicely toned.
