Description
Edward VI (1547-1553), AV Half Sovereign, Third Period, Crown Gold, Tower (London) mint, mm. tun (1551-3). Half-length, crowned, figure of King right, resting upright sword on shoulder, holding orb, Rev. Crowned square-topped shield, E R at either side. (N. 1928; S. 2451). Extremely Fine, rare thus. Graded by PCGS as AU58.
