1883-93 5s Lilac, opt 'REVENUE', three examples in fine mint condition, the shades of lilac, purple and greyish purple detailed by Pierce et al in Robson Lowe's 1971 publication 'St Vincent: The Revenue Stamps 1882-1897' A fine trio, very scarce in mint condition, with one of these shades almost certainly coming from the order of 18th January 1892, where only 600 5s were printed with a low survival rate.
