Collection starting with Great Britain including 1840 1d (3) and 2d (4) with variable margins, other line-engraved, surface-printed with 1867-73 watermark Maltese Cross and Anchor values with both £1 perfin used, 1884 £1 watermark Crowns perfin used and watermark Orbs damaged at left, KEVII to £1 with Guernsey cds, KGV with Seahorses to 10/-, 1929 P.U.C. £1 used, Officials, Antigua, Australia and States, Bechuanaland, British East Africa 1897-1903 50r overprinted Specimen toned corner, British Guiana, Canada with 1897 Jubilee $2 and $5 used, Cape triangulars, Ceylon Chalons, Fiji, Hong Kong, India with 1926-33 watermark Multiple Star 15r and 25r large part o.g., States, Mauritius, New Zealand, Nigerias, Nyasaland, Straits Settlements and Malay States, Trinidad; some mixed condition as usual and a few forgeries but with much of merit in generally fair to fine condition and presenting an excellent basis for expansion
