Original colour story art pages with overlay of speech bubbles and sound effect on celluloid paper, of 2000 AD Prog #873 ‘Deus Ex Machina Book 2 Part 1’. Pages 14-19. The story is a continuation from Book 1. We follow Tyranny Rex the last surviving member of the Saurons, a reptilian humanoid race. Her mercenary instincts are awakened to protect her convent, ending with her consciousness merging with the universe. Pages 14-15, show Tyranny being rescued by levitating Elvis robots singing Presley song titles. Art by Paul Marshall and Gina Hart, story by John Smith. Stamped 2000 AD on reverse.
