1852-57 10d dull blue 'Jacques Cartier', on thin handmade wove, horizontal pair with good to large margins, the right stamp with the prominent R3/5 Major Re-entry (strong line through 'CANADA', doubling of left '8d Stg.' and upper frame line), used with part target cancels. The left stamp with small thin at top, and vertical crease in margin between (not affecting either stamp), still above average. Rare and desirable in this se-tenant form. (cat £4950)
