1897 2½d on 1s dull lilac, type 8 surcharge, large part o.g. with true colour. Minor blemishes (traces of toning and gum loss, tiny rub), still above average for this scarce stamp. Only 1562 printed of type 8, and many were water-stained. This example from R1/7, with defective 'd'. (cat £110+)
