1841 1d. Red brown Pl.33. (State 2, non-coincident re-entry). Very fine used close to large four margined example lettered PA. Neatly tied to cover by a black Scottish thin lined MC leaving the variety clear, backstamped with an Edinburgh dispatch cds for FE.9.1844. Minor cover faults, nevertheless an exceptionally fine example of this spectacular re-entry that is rarely seen on cover. Spec BS22g.
