1912 (?) 1a imperforate proof single in lilac from an unadopted Bradbury Wilkinson (?) plate, inscribed POSTAGE and similar in detail to the issued B.W. ¼a and ½a (SG 32-4).  Faults (vertical crease), with two further partial impressions and annotation on reverse, but a very interesting item, not previously seen by us.  1908-11 Wyon 1a proof pair in deep green for comparison
