Alwar.  1910-45 Revenue proofs and specimens.  1910 1a vertical proof pair in red on unwatermarked paper, ungummed, showing dry print at base of lower stamp, and gummed marginal example with watermark Multiple Rosettes, close to violet in shade, perfin horsehoe SPECIMEN sideways.  1945 1a black-brown gummed corner block of six, with hole punches in lieu of Specimen, and two gummed perforated examples in bright blue with Waterlow Specimen overprints (see note above #341 in K&M)
