Dvr. J. Satterthwaite. R.A.S.C.), note initial “J” not “I”, “S.C.” of unit engraved, 1939‑45 Star, Italy Star, 1939‑45 Defence Medal, 1939‑45 War Medal, unnamed as issued, Korea Medal 1950-53, (Capt. I Satterthwaite. R.A.O.C.), United Nations Korea Medal, unnamed as issued, contemporarily mounted for wear, very fine (7).
C.Q.M.S. Irving Satterthwaite was commissioned Lieutenant on the 22nd of January 1941; he retired from the Reserve of Officers having attained the age limit on the 28th of March 1963.
