A Second World War, BEF 1940, Palestine, Army Emergency Reserve Group of 5 awarded to Captain (Honorary Major) George James Hunter, Worcestershire Regiment and King’s Own Scottish Borderers who was Commissioned in 1938 from the Harrow School Contingent Officer Training Corps, comprising 1939-45 Star, (2/Lieut. G.J. Hunter Worc. R.) 1939-45 Defence Medal, 1939-45 War Medal, (Capt. G.J. Hunter Worc. R.), all privately engraved, General Service Medal, 1918‑62, one clasp, Palestine 1945-48, (Major G.J. Hunter. K.O.S.B.), Army Emergency Reserve Decoration, EIIR, officially dated (1958), contemporarily mounted for wear, lightly toned, very fine (5).
