1931-35 Complete set of Printer’s FILE COPIES ex. the Bradbury Wilkinson archive, comprising the original 9 values 3s to £50, 10/3/30 printing, 3s, 7s6d, 10s and £1 reprints dated 21/3/32, 3s, 10s and £1 reprints dated, 2/2/34 and the final £1 reprint dated 8/3/35. Each in an UPPER MARGINAL block of TWENTY being the upper two rows of the sheets and showing manuscript endorsements in margins of the relevant plate numbers and printing dates. The later printings showing running sheet numbers '1 500' in margins. A total of 17 stamps clearly showing the shade contrast relevant to the various printings. Mounted on original card ex. the printer's archive. One sheet of 60 of each known. A truly Spectacular survival of the highest importance. Mewett 223/31
