<p>1900 (3 December) complete certificate (188 x 270 mm) folded for display, bearing at foot Cape 2s6d olive-bistre (horizontal pair) and 10s lilac, each with 26x2.5mm ‘BASUTOLAND’ handstamp, neatly cancelled with initials and date in black. 2s6d stamps creased and right defective with piece missing at top, of little importance as this is the earliest recorded revenue document of Basutoland, and the only known document from Victoria's Reign. An important item for any Basutoland exhibitor. &nbsp;T&M 5.1, 5.2</p>
