1921-2005 collection of flight covers and related items, well researched and mounted on exhibition pages, including; 1921 proposed Botwood to St Anthony flight, which did not take place and overs were sent by see, franked by 1920 Three Cents on 35ct red, with ‘Air Post St Anthony’ straight lined h/s, 1922 St Johns to Trinity bay flight, St Johns to Fogo, with printed advertising cover franked by 3ct ‘caribou’, 1923 St Johns to Flowers cove, 1930 First Flight from , Canada to Newfoundland, cover with accompanying letter from Newfoundland Airways, 1931 Ruth Nichols flight 1ct Washington postcard addressed to stamp dealer A.C. Rose with 5ct ‘caribou’ with unofficial ‘Trans Atlantic Air Mail Ruth Nichols 1931’ opt, generally fair to fine condition, an ideal lot for the postal historian.
