QV to QEII I mint postal stationery accumulation, with examples of different sizes, comprising postcards, reply cards, registered envelopes, aerogrammes etc including many overprinted “SPECIMEN”. Noted are 1886 1d carmine on white porous card, ½d red-brown stamp of Natal overprinted “GIBRALTAR" in black further overprinted "SPECIMEN”, 2d pale sage green overprinted “SPECIMEN”, 1918 2d red H&G size 'K' imprint CLPT53, 1938 1½d red on buff post card overprinted “SPECIMEN” with HOME MAIL BRANCH ‘HMB’ cancel, 2d grey embossed envelope, 2d grey lettercard overprinted “SPECIMEN”.
