1883 £1 Brown lilac Pl.1 (Wmk. Anchor, blued paper). Superb unused o.g. right hand marginal imperforate imprimatur lettered CH, overprinted “SPECIMEN“ type 9. In January 1885 an additional seven stamps were removed from the Imprimatur sheet, only four of which were overprinted “SPECIMEN“. A magnificent example of this great rarity. Ex.
