1840 2d Mulready Lettersheet (Forme 1, Stereo a96). Very fine used example uprated to the 4d per 2oz rate with an additional three margin pair of 1d red-brown from plate 101 all neatly cancelled by Leeds "447" numerals. Addressed to Headingly with a crisp blue Leeds dispatch cds on reverse for JY.13.1850. A very rare uprated franking. BPA cert (1990), SG ME3,8, £32,500++. Ex. "Mayflower"
