1840 1d Black Pl.5 (HA). Used entire from Bishop Aukland to Durham bearing four margin example tied by red MC, re-addressed to Wetherby. On arrival the stamps was crossed through in manuscript and endorsed “1” additional postage charge. A fascinating item full of character, original address erased possibly before re-addressing. Some light staining and minor peripheral faults. 2022 RPS Cert.
