<p>1840 2d blue, Plate 1, horizontal pair (QE-QF), just cut into at lower right to large margins and nearly severed between pair, on entire cover to Falkirk, both tied by the distinctive Stirling black Maltese Cross, backstamped by Stirling despatch for 25 MY 1842 and Falkirk arrival (26.5) boxed handstamp; refolded and a couple of vertical filing folds, one through the right stamp.
