<p>1841 1d red-brown from ‘black’ plates group used on cover in Scotland and all tied by Maltese Crosses, includes, Pl. 5 from Mid Calder to Edinburgh, Pl. 8 pair from Edinburgh to Glasgow, another pair Oban to Inverary, and single with intense MC of Lockerby to Edinburgh, Pl. 10 from Lockerby to Edinburgh with crisp MC, another tied by Perth MC to Dunkeld, and Keith to Ballindalloch, Pl. 11 (BC with re-entry) from Denny to Irvine with watery brown MC and additional black MC applied on top. Condition is generally fine. SG 7. (9 covers).</p>
