1857- modern balance of collection with many better postal history items including: 1857 entire to Scotland bearing 1857 6d imperf cancelled by oval bars, tied by London Paid cds in red, also CR (Caledonian Railway) mark on face. 1865 entire letter to Norfolk, via Marseilles franked by 1/- slate-violet rough perf 14 to 15½, tied by oval of bars. 1878 cover to Edinburgh, franked with 64c red-brown QV issue, tied by Colombo duplex. 1878 triple U.P.U. rate cover to London, franked with 32c slate and 64c red-brown. 1901 Pair of Boer War P.O.W. camp postal stationery cards. 1919 Insured registered envelope with late use of pair of 15c sage-green QV issues. Also mint and predominately used accumulation housed on stockpages and in stockbook with many early 'Pence' issues (imperf and perforated) 'Cents' issues with surcharges, some Officials, KEVII, KGV, KGVI and modern issues, postal history and page/stock cards of modern issues with errors and varieties including imperfs and omissions, viewing encouraged
