1929-34 collection of first flight and flight covers, mounted on exhibition pages, with incoming and out going mail, including: 1929 Karachi to London first flight, registered cover to Chas Griffiths 170 Strand, London, Eastbound flight from Croydon to Calcutta, 1929 Karachi-Delhi extension with cachet, and slogan postmarks, 1931 cover from Duke of Northumberland to the Victory, the Lord Irwin with Viceroys Camp P.O. arrival mark, similar cover with House of Common cds for 6 MR 31, 1932 cover from London to Simla via Limassol, Cyprus, 1933 First Trans India Air Mail cover from Calcutta to England with Imperial Airways label and booklet of air mail labels, 1934 First Flight from India to Africa, generally fine condition, an interesting lot.
