<p>1912 Bas-relief plaque bromide. Very fine example of the Makennal portrait, endorsed at right "47.4", the size of the head in proportion to the frame. Several sizes were trialled for the coinage head portrait that was used for the ½d, 1½d, 2d, 3d, and 4d values. Very scarce.</p>
