1938-52 mint and used study of varieties (hundreds) on stocksheets, both of the 1938 definitives and the 1942 Landfall, almost all annotated and the great majority positioned.  We note 1948 5/- large part o.g., R10/2 enlarged 'V'; Landfall £1 chalky paper unmounted o.g. pair, R10/4 broken head surround at base, usual gum; ½d brown-purple and ½d Landfall, o.g. with R9/6 elongated 'E'; 2d scarlet R3/6 short 'T' block, unmounted.  A most interesting lot, well worth inspection
