1880 1r grey Die II with a good part PEARL FISHERY/PAID CDS (Proud PD1), dated FE 25 81 (the 5 in manuscript).  SG T4  
  
This cancellation was applied a week before the 1881 opening of the fishery at Silavaturai on 4th March.  Other than this example, the canceller appears to have been applied solely on postage stamps.  It is also the earliest known date of use of a CDS on a Ceylon Telegraph stamp
