1911 2½d Blue (Perf. 14). Very fine used left hand marginal example on an "Oswald Marsh" registered cover, neatly tied by a Norwood/Weston St cds and a Norwood Registered datestamp for JY.10.1911 (First day of issue) and JY.11.191 respectively. A few light tones as normally seen, predominantly confined to the Norwood registration label at upper left nevertheless a lovely example of this exceedingly rare first day cover, the only example of which we have handled for over 20 years believed to be one of two examples in private hands.
