1911 (6 FE) registered cover from Bulawayo to England, franked by 1909-12 2d (2) and 1910-13 2½d, perf 14, tied by two strikes of ‘BULAWAYO / RHODESIA’ cds (Proud type D4) with registration label at upper left (registration number ‘7471’ altered by hand to ‘7477’) and Charing Cross registered oval (4 MR) at right; re-addressed on arrival with various London transit and Ascot arrival (MR 5) backstamps. A very scarce usage.
