1920-1950 (circa) Thematic collection of the Shipping Industry in the Cayman Islands with many interesting items: a 1930s promotional 32-page booklet with images. Two receipts for passenger tickets on board the "Caymania", one from Georgetown to Little Cayman in 1948, another from Georgetown to Kingston, Jamaica in 1949. Both with 1d KGVI 1938 issues used as revenues. An interesting selection of postcards with relevant views (9), 1917 postcard titled "Ship Building Industry" sent registered to England with Type 15 War Tax surcharge and a block of four ¼d and a single ½d KGV values cancelled at Georgetown. Postcard of schooner unloading "Giant Sea Turtles" on to dock etc. (15 items)
