1948 New Caribbean International Airlines: pair of First Flight Covers from Jamaica to the Cayman Islands, both cancelled at Kingston on 2 JU 1948, one to Grand Cayman (arrival cds on reverse 3 JU 1948), the other to Cayman Brac (arrival cds on reverse5 JU 1948). Due to poor weather conditions the aircraft could not land at Stake Bay so the mail bag with the latter cover had to be dropped from the air, ex Podger, scarce
