Description
1938 (13th Oct) ‘On Dungarpur State Service Only.' printed cover, addressed to Ramgarh with m/s instructions reading ‘Post Thana Ghanesphur’, to indicate that the nearest post office to the addresse was Ghanesphur, bearing (on reverse) 1933-34 ¼a salmon bottom marginal horizontal strip of four, with pos. 1 and pos. 4 showing unlisted error ‘1’ of ‘¼’ omitted, showing strikes from state cds in violet for 13 Oct 38, paying 1a letter rate. Pos. 1 in strip with defect in top margin, and minor cover faults, nevertheless a unique and highly important multiple which includes the only known examples of the numeral error, ‘1’ missing.
