1870 ½d Rose colour trial using the New South Wales Diadem issue. Very fine unused colour trial in rose on wove paper. The original proposed colour for the ½d issue was green but due to fugitivity problems with the inks when they had dried, the colour was changed to rose. Spec. DP66. Cat £6000 for a block of six.
