1841-55 2d Blue Pl.4 (State I, II & III). A fine study of the varying degrees of wear and repairs to TC of 2d Blue Pl.4 including imperforate examples before wear and after first repair (SG 14) and perforated (SG19/20, perf 16 & SG23, perf 14) including extremely worn state II examples and repaired ‘Thin C’ state III examples on both issues. Thirteen TC examples in total with some in pairs and strips. A truly spectacular study of this extremely visual variety. SG14-23. (13).
