1841 1d Red-brown Pl.12-45 (SG 8-12, Imperforate, Alphabet I, Wmk. Small Crown). A magnificent used group of mostly four margin imperforate 1841 1d Red-brown nearly all cancelled by Maltese cross cancellations. Including several shades, multiples, positional/plate number pieces, constant varieties, re-entry's, double letters, multiple states certain letterings and twenty three watermark inverted examples (from the following plates Pl.12, 14,15, 17, 19, 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 31, 32, 33, 34, 37, 38, 41, 42, 43, 44 & 45).
