1871-1909 ½a orange-brown bottom marginal block of 4 with large part o.g.,  each stamp perforated SARKARI.  SG 13 var.; Scott 4 var.  
  
It is believed that one sheet was thus perforated as an early experiment in producing Official stamps.  It was abandoned in favour of overprinting, due to excessive cost.
