1944 (26 June) sugar ration printed folded "card" (with full translation), sent through the post, franked only by 1942-47 1a deep myrtle-green, perf 10½ (imperforate margin at foot, position 3 of a pane), tied by large violet seriffed "CANCELLED" handstamp. The stamp is certainly SG 1 by shade, but is from the wider-spaced setting usual for SG 3. A very rare and desirable usage. SG 1 var; Scott 1 var
