1946 1a pale yellow-green pair (imperf at right and base) on handmade envelope, manuscript cancels and violet datestamp. Passed into the Imperial postal system where the stamps were not recognised, with Jasdan and Vichhiya Imperial CDSs, latter dated 20 SEP. On the front, horseshoe Vichhiya Postage Due mark with manuscript '3'. Envelope with some faults, but rare and with a nice story to tell. SG 4; Scott 1
