Description
Class IIIc, mm: greyhound's head (GH 2) on both sides (1502‑1504). Crowned, facing bust, double‑arched crown with jewels on outer arch, broken saltire stops type B, rev. Long cross with trio of pellets in each quarter normal saltire stops (type A), letter N3 in both LON and DON, (Potter & Winstanley chapter IV, 1; Stewartby p.436, IIICv(b); SCBI Ashmolean 406ff; N. 1705c; S 2199). About Very Fine, toned.
