Description
Class IIIc, mm: greyhound's head (GH 1) on both sides (1502‑1504). Crowned, facing bust, double‑arched crown with jewels on outer arch, broken saltire stops type B, rev., Long cross normal with trio of pellets in each angle, saltire stops (type A), letter N3 in both LON and DON, coded 21/00 (Potter & Winstanley chapter IV, 1; Stewartby p. 436, IIIcv (a); N 1705(c); S 2199). Good Very Fine with attractive iridescent toning.
