Description
Tom And Jerry Animation Drawings For Ford Mondeo Advert (Large Company, 2003).
A collection of thirteen animation sketches of a movement sequence of Tom from a Ford Mondeo advert. These images are close ups of Tom With, over 55 VFX movement sketching of Tom, including drawings of his paw pads on the window. Plus a rough sketch of Tom looking through the Ford window and a photocopy of the live action window. Directed by Jeff Stark. Animated by Ted Hall and with assistant animator Andy Gail. These sketches are from the end of the advert, while Jerry is hiding within the car.
The advert begins with a classic Tom and Jerry scene, with Jerry sitting on a spoon on Tom's plate. Tom wraps a napkin around his neck starting to tuck into his mouse sized snack. Flicking Jerry up from his spoon, rather than falling down, Jerry escapes from the TV screen, and a chase ensues. Ending with Jerry finding sanctuary within a new Ford Mondeo and Tom being chased by a live action dog similar to Spike Bulldog.
Notes: Provenance, within the collection is the original animation exposure sheets. This lot includes some sheets. Measurements: Approx. 12.75" x 10.75".
