Tom And Jerry Animation Drawings For Ford Mondeo Advert (Large Company, 2003).
Nine drawings of Jerry appearing on the page from Scene 3, J1-15 (some numbers missing). Seven drawings of Tom from Scene 1 T19-69 (numbers missing), tying his napkins and hitting the spoon to jump Jerry into the air. Plus, three sketches of Tom looking confused. Animation sketch of the Ford Mondeo for scale of animation. Sketch of the animated dining room background from Scene 1. Two movement sketching of Tom, one drawn on to an exposure sheet. Five other exposure sheets from animators. Together with a large collection of printed backgrounds for animation reference and other scanned pages. Directed by Jeff Stark. Animated by Ted Hall and with assistant animator Andy Gail.
The advert begins with a classic Tom and Jerry scene, with Jerry sitting on a spoon on Tom's plate. Tom wraps a napkin around his neck starting to tuck into his mouse sized snack. Flicking Jerry up from his spoon, rather than falling down, Jerry escapes from the TV screen, and a chase ensues. Ending with Jerry finding sanctuary within a new Ford Mondeo and Tom being chased by a live action dog similar to Spike Bulldog.
