1841 2d blue, Plate 3 (RD), good to huge margins showing part of next stamp at top, on cover to Dumbarton, tied by distinctive Edinburgh black Maltese Cross, backstamped by despatch cds for SEP 30 1842 and orange arrival boxed hs for the following day.
