1841 2d blue, Plate 3 (JC), with clear to good margins on O.H.M.S. entire to Wigtown, tied by the thin distinctive black Maltese Cross of Edinburgh towards the end of its life, and backstamped by cds for MAY 18 1843 and Wigtown single arc ds for MY 20. A vertical fold clear of the adhesive, otherwise fine and scarce. SG 14.
