1846 (Jan 17th) letter signed by Rowland Hill addressed to J.Collins where Hill expresses his displeasure regarding the arrangements and sittings for a portrait that has been commissioned. ‘’ I cannot consent to have any more of my time occupied with a vexatious correspondence. You will therefore have the goodness to consider all further proceedings in the matter as at an end''. &nbsp;Lot includes a typed transcript of Hills reply and J.Collins original letter and a reproduction of the portrait in question.
