1858 (AU 18) cover to Gotha, Germany, via Ostend, franked by 1857 6d lilac, tied by a very fine strike of the type IV "Renton Renton" Scots local, and with red ‘insufficiently/stamped’ instructional mark and endorsed with a m/s ‘2’ charge mark, backstamped by six markings including ‘Aus England Per Aachen’ cds for 20 8. The adhesive with the upper perfs trimmed, still a rare use. SG 68.
