1881 De La Rue handpainted essay for the 25ct in the revised design with values at top and base, executed in blue-green on tracing paper (72 x 138mm).  Values, side inscriptions and tiny details in the spandrels in Chinese white.  Dated June 28th/81 at top right.  A unique and beautiful essay, ex De La Rue archives.  For SG T12
